Tigard Office Announcement

Updated: Nov 29, 2023

My beloved clients ~

I hope this note finds you safe and well.

I am writing to inform you today that I have now closed my Tigard office location where I have been offering massage, reiki and spiritual care for the last year and a half.

The Covid-19 viral outbreak has affected many people in a wide variety of ways.  For many massage therapists, our practices have been closed for nearly three months.  Despite understanding landlords in some cases, many of us will not be able to continue.  The time in “voluntary quarantine” has given us much time to ponder where we are being called and whether our businesses are viable to re-open.

It will be a long time before massage therapists, (like many other businesses, schools and houses of worship) can re-open and provide services to the same degree that we were previously used to.  Current social distancing protocols and very high levels of restrictions regarding how to practice massage will cause many therapists to choose another profession.  There is much in our society to grieve at this time.

Still, there *are* some massage therapists who are feeling comfortable enough to open their doors again.  When you are ready to receive massage and are in search of a gifted LMT, I can recommend a few people for you to try.  One of them is a good friend of mine who is likely to fill the space in my current Tigard office once it is safe to re-open.  I am happy to send you her name and contact info, if you request it.

But as for me, I must bid my west side practice farewell.

If we continue to see improvements in our local area, I may re-open my practice.  However, when I do so, it will be closer to my home in Gresham.  Many of you will not want to drive so far, even for my fabulous holistic care and gentle, nurturing massage.

Feel free to drop me a line if you find yourself traveling on the east side of the river.  It would be lovely to re-connect once we feel a bit more safe as a society.

It has been my joy and honor to care for you over these years since my first private practice office opened.

Thank you for all of our shared memories and time together!
