My husband, our drum circle facilitator, has crafted a new stand for our community gong! We’re getting ready for our first Dancing Heart Turtle Drum gathering!
Join us tonight at Song of the Dancing Heart from 6:30 to 8:30.
4970 SW Main Ave, Beaverton, OR 97005.
We are located in the Singing River Natural Medicine building on the corner of 5th and Main, two blocks west of the library. Our community space is on the street level.
Come a little early, (around 6) if you want to learn a couple of rhythms. An opening ceremony, honoring Spirit and centering our circle, will begin just after we’re settled.

We gather in community to celebrate the sacred. We connect with one another and welcome Divine into our midst. We invite healing: for one another, for ourselves and for Mother Earth.
All spiritual traditions are welcome.
Dancing Heart Turtle Drum is based on a the Turtle Spirit Jam community in Seattle which was led for nine years by our friend, Tasara. Although her jam has come to an end there, she still has great resources online to help us find our rhythm together. On her website, click on the links to the right labeled “How to Drum with Turtles” and “Drum Circle Etiquette for Beginners” to learn more. This will help you prepare for tonight’s gathering at Song of the Dancing Heart.
We are planning for our Dancing Heart Turtle Drum gathering to become a monthly event on the last Sunday of each month.
Feel free to bring a turtle related item to place on our community altar. Bring your favorite drum, didge, flute or rhythm instrument! We’ll also have some to share.
We look forward to drumming together with you all!
